Wait a min..you have the same problem as I do, but the fix was a bad HID bulb? But my freakin' headlight looks like it is stuck facing upwards

Sorry, that post was confusing. I had 2 separate issues. The pointed upwards HID was fixed by adjustment. This happened about 8 months ago.

Last week, my HID would not turn on. The dealership replaced it with a new HID.

Damn..I don't think we have the same problem. I don't think a mere adjustment will fix this issue. I'm bringing the car to the dealership tomorrow, I'll let u know how it goes, hopefully they don't need my car for too long

Did you make the adjustment?

Thanks

Yes, it is very easy. It requires a level surface with a blank wall. Park 20 ft from it and raise and lower as needed. It will take a couple of trials because you will have to test the car out on the street. Follow Techniques thread.

Here it is:

Ok, thanks. I was playing with it earlier and turned the adjusting screws 20 times (notches), but saw no movement. A quick look at that link mentions 60 to 70 , I'll give it a go. They both move when initially doing the auto-level, but the left one goes back to the slanted up position.
