Thank you everyone!

Menech: I am not really using the P21S to replace the Klasse. The Klasse is still very good, and lasts a long time. The P21S is definitely adds the 'pop' to the paintwork and makes it look like a pool of water...heheh and yes..it is also easier to apply and buff off than the klasse. Just dont let the P21S dry to a haze.

ciddy: Not really. The paint really needs to be swirl free...it does 'hide' very minor blemishes slightly. I used the Autopia steps/instructions on "The Perfect Shine".

CMist: Yups! I am in melb as well.

hth!

nice shine..

how many mf towels did you use to remove and buff the whole car..

last time i put nxt on my black is and i think i put too much on or didnt wait for it to dry long enough.. 2 days later under the sun i realized the car was covered in a haze.. it came off after another wash tho

i noticed you said dont let the p21s dry.. is that how you wax with all waxes??

Very very nice... Is this a 2006 Black Onyx or a 2007 Obsidian?

How are you liking that A4 2.0TQ S-Line? That is the only other car I considered when buying the Lexus, it was really close for me. I am loving the Lex, but sometimes wonder about the Audi...

I just used one mf towel. The orange coloured thing in the first pic was the buffing mf towel. Bought the whole "Perfect Shine" kit from Autopia. Really awesome combination of products. I also bought a spray bottle of "Carnauba Spritz" from Sonus/Autopia. If the P21S is left to dry, it makes it very difficult to remove and leaves a haze as you have found out. The Spritz makes it sooooooo much easier.

Yeah, a dark audi (with a bit of chrome highlights) does look nice...but i liked the interior of the lexus better, and the customer service at lexus was second to none! But...as with all things, to each their own! The audi is definitely a nice car.

I used to use a Porter Cable dual action buffer, but for this, i did everything by hand. For waxing one coat, it took me approximately 1 hour. I put on 2 coats with 24 hrs inbetween to allow the wax to cure/harden.
