I dealt with Newport Lexus Too. The sales agent was Gerhard I believe, hes in the internet sales dept. The best price before Ttax and license was $38,860.00 this is for the same equipped vehicle as the one i purchased from Lexus of Riverside. I used Newport Lexus's quote as a bargaining tool. $40,000.00 OTD is the correct price price before tax and license was $37,000.00 something i dont remember.

In all of my car buying experiences, I've always found the best deals to come from the internet sales manager. The only time I've ever gotten a better deal was from a fleet manager at Jaguar. Since fleet managers apparently only get judged on the number of cars sold per month, they have zero incentive bicker over cost. They just sell right at invoice and are smiling happy about it.

Reading the above posts it's obvious to me I should have let my Vietnamese wife deal with the salesman after seeing the great deals they got. Me? I paid MSRP at Newport Lexus for my IS250 and, at the time, had TWO other couples trying to buy the car out from under me. There lot was loaded with I350s of any color or equipment BUT only 4/5 IS250s on the lot. No deals here if you wanted a IS250. That said I love the car and was very, very happy to unload my very repair prone Mercedes C230 Kompressor....
With only 300 miles on the car I drove it to San Diego (75 miles) and averaged 67 mph and 34 mpg. I knew than I made the right choice....
