I was at Newport Lexus this afternoon with some friends. I did a quick write up on the fully loaded Verdigris Mica w/Tan Interior GS350's newfound power here:

The obvious 07 changes were apparent. The Sharkfin antenna is the most prominent of all from the exterior. Interior, the buttons for the Gas & Trunk release look different but they are now illuminated. The TRAC OFF button is replaced with the universal TRAC OFF icon. As in the pic I took in the GS350's cluster. See link above.

Starfire Pearl - 065



Black Sapphire - 8UO



As far as the new colors, the ones that I saw readily were Starfire Pearl 065 and Black Sapphire. For those who are already familiar with Crystal White, Starfire has about the same amount of pearl-essence as Crystal White, but the car is much more whiter. Even more so compared to GFM or even Diamond White Pearl (for those old school Lexus owners). Black Sapphire is a beautiful color in person. It does look very similar to Blue Onyx but this color has a much more deeper color which is a little more biased to a dark or navy blue. I did take pics of the two IS' below, but because of the lighting and color balancing of my Canon camera, it is not going to give you the most accurate depiction of the color. You would need to see it in person to see how well the color is in sunlight. Digicams will never give the true sense of a color because of the many factors that can change the picture i.e. aperture priority, shutter speed, color balancing and etc. If you're in the market for a white or even dark blue, you will love these colors. Enjoy.

was excited to see the starfire pics and read your description of it. Glad the starfire has the same amount of pearl in it, but now I'm just trying to imagine my paint being more white. Hmm, I think i'll just have to wait for dealer to get one and try to do side by side compare

Wow thanks for the pics, I was a little disappointed that they killed the Blue Onyx, and I thought Black Saphire was going to be.....well black. Great to see that there's still a dark blue in the lineup.

Those pics don't do justice to the black sapphire color. It's really hard to capture the picture to show how blue and the metallic(ness) of the blue paint. Especially in daylight, its quite unique.

Yup that is right. That's why I put a disclaimer at the end of my post about my Canon camera. It's one of those "you gotta see it to believe it" kind of colors.
