What MPG's r u getting and miles per tank
IS250AWD ...
I only got 255 miles to a tank on my first three fillups. Now I am going up to 375 miles to a tank. Car has 2000 miles on it now so I guess it was a break in thing. Avg 25 city and 31 hwy, driving like a baby to get the 31. Most times I will get 29 on the hwy. Any one else get anything better with thier IS250 ? This seems to be better than the sticker which is great !

How are you figuring mpg? are you dividing miles by gallons put in or are you just using the trip computer? If I use the trip computer I am getting 23 mpg in town but when I actually do the math and figure it out it is more like 20.4 mpg in town. I have yet to take a long trip in the car so I don't know what the highway mileage is. I am also getting the same mileage now as I was when I bought the car, I have almost 3000 on it now. It's an IS250

Its worth pointing out that MPG varies widely depending on driving style, road contidions, tire conditions, and quality of gasoline. The latter item is particularly important since ethanol is being added to a lot of gasolines today. For those of you who are not Chem majors, ethanol has less energy than gasoline, so MPG will go down if it is in the mix. To complicate matters, I believe the amount of ethanol varies between regions of the country, so its hard to get a consistent value to the MPG amongst the users on this board.

I'm averaging 27 mpg with 80/20 highway/city. But I run my car with no A/C most of the times. I can usually get about 29-32 mpg on the highway, but it goes down to about 22-24 mpg on the streets. and for the streets, it really all depends how lucky I get with the red/green lights (I also don't gas excessively, and let my car roll to the red light when I see it). And to note: I believe all of the gas stations I've been to contain ethanol (up to 10%).

From my observation, my IS350 really guzzles gas until it warms up, especially during the winter months. The number of short trips I make has a huge impact on my mileage.
