Manual Shifting Logic How to reverse? (Now with pics!)

If it didn't involve so many sensitive steps, I'd be all over it. I too, prefer the BMW way because it's just much more intuitive.... remember your video games at the arcade?

Someone read my mind. Just what I've been looking for. Race logic is what it's called? My first X5, a 2002 model, had the "normal people" logic (if you could call it that). My second one, a 2003 model, had the race logic. I had never in my life touched a tiptronic transmission prior to the "regular" setup, yet I was never able to get used to pushing up to upshift. Once I got the race logic setup, it was just a natural feeling.
Then again, I have my 1999 Ducati 996 set up with a reverse shifter.
What's wrong with us???

Nothing is wrong with us. Every bike I owned got "down for go/up for slow" shifting as soon as I could figure out how to make it happen. The first time you get your foot stuck under the shifter with the edge of your boot grinding off in a turn, you figure out that the "normal" way is stupid.

I know this is old but it is so helpful. the manual shifting in my ISF didnt feel right (I have a reverse manual valve body th350 in my mustang) this is a badass free mod. it took me about 45 minutes to switch the wires and it works like a charm, it feels more natural. Thanks lobuxracer for the how too, it really helped a lot
