Send me some pics. I might be willing to buy!

I've noticed the current rectangle Spring Shades don't work on with my car with (I think) the 1" thick rain sensor box next to the mirror, attached to the windshield.

Are there any rain sensor friendly sun shades that don't cave in when left in the sun during the day? Does heatshield have a cutout for this box like they do with the mirror?

Thanks

the dealership will have exact fit sun shades. They cost 4 times what they will cost at wal mart but they actually fit your car like a custom made one

Thanks I8ABMR.

I went to the dealership this weekend and found the circle folding sun shade I was unable to find at retail stores. The sun shade fits perfectly between the dash and windshield on bottom and the space between sun visor & roof on top. I like not having to fold down the sun visor to hold up the sun shade.

I just bought one from Canadian Tire because it is one of those thick ones that have the bubble wrap thing in the middle. I used to have one of those thins ones with the white foam on one side. I hate those. Mine doesn't fit OEM style but it does the job and it was cheap.

I just recieved my swell sun shade and I have to admit I'm slightly disappointed. The top and bottom fit perfectly, but there's gaps when extended left to right. The pictures shows on the site show a totally covered shield which is not the case. I'll post pics later on if anyone is interested. I'm gonna head to my car for lunch so I'm gonna see how well it cools even with the slight gaps

My sunshield from Sewell fit pretty good. I would like it to be 1 inch longer, but it could be from the slight droop I have in the middle.

It still covers up all of my dash though, so I'm happy.

Question

Resurrecting this old thread.

I was looking at the WeatherTech TechShade here:

http://www.weathertech.com/lexus/201...dystyle/is350/

I didn't see any mention of it on the forums so I thought I would ask. Is this a lot of marketing hype? It is worth the price? I can get the HeatShield brand here http://www.amazon.com/Sunshade-Hardt...pr_product_top for half the price but there seems to be a mixed response about it.

Also, I have the rain sensor on the windshield so I'm assuming that will prevent a flat fit. Someone asked about that but I didn't see a response. That said should I even bother?

Thanks

Weathertech's feels cheap - but actually is very good for heat protection, seems to be holding up and is very easy to put in and roll up. It's "cheap" feel make it pliable.
