Default Nav screen protectors

Do you guys use a nav screen protector? I just noticed a little chip on my touch screen, right in the middle of the screen.... looks like i accidentally hit it with something sharp. It's entirely cosmetic, but it doesn't seem like i'll be able to fix it =/

thinking of getting a protector for it now to prevent future marks... any suggestions?

Is this something that is covered under warranty?

Didja chip it with your many fine jewelry on your hands? j/k!

Yeah, i saw one seller on eBay selling those. Been thinking about picking one up, but not sure from where. Some has small adhesive on the edges, while the others don't.

just ordered one from eBay last night for about 10 bucks. I'll let you know if it works. Worth a try for such a cheap price.

I got on ebay for like $14 including shipping, has been on the car for 2 months now, works great, no air bubble or what so ever.

I got it from this seller:

i also ordered the one from ebay. It went on smoothly and now i don't have to be as careful when wiping the screen. ( I still use a microfiber towel to wipe it down though)

I don't think it would be covered under warranty.

I got the same nave protector off ebay but have been too busy to install it. I think it'll move up on my to do list.

I ordered a custom screen protector from shieldzone.com, waiting for it to come in. I love their covers... Have covers from them for my camera, psp, and 2 handheld gps systems.

What dimensions did you send them. It may alleviate the $4.95 custom fee if you ordered a few....I would like one!!

Count me in as well. I don't like the "border" that's on the ebay protector.

The dimensions I sent were this
16.5 cm Width
9.4 cm Height

I verified the size by cutting a piece of paper to that size and placing it over the nav screen to make sure the fit was good.

I ordered it Saturday and usually it takes about 1-2 weeks for a custom job.

I could ask them. Not sure I want to be stuck with extra screen protectors though plus you would have to pay for shipping from me to you.. probably like $2-3.
