Which OEM tires did your IS come with?

Manufacturers don't limit themselves to one tire supplier for obvious reasons - a supply breakdown would stop production. Instead they specify 2 or 3 similar tires from different manufacturers.

reviews are highly skewed if there arent enough samples, if i was the first person to rate it and gave it a 10/10 with whatever 5k miles reported would you get it because tirerack was showing a 10/10 from a single reviewer, its basic statistics. And Id rather get real testing from a magazine other than people who post "BEST TIRES EVER BUY IT" as the only thing in their reviews. Geezus PS2 with road hazard is almost 200 more than sport maxx/GS-D3 with road hazard

Do you have any other reviews?
I don't trust a thing C&D writes, and I'd really be interested to find out what the top 5 or so tires are in this segment from a true unbiased source.

another goodyear article, lower left is the C&D article but the Euro Tuner article test isnt that great, they got driver reviews instead of actual numbers:
http://www.goodyeartires.com/cfmx/we...?PRODLINE=1197
went to the michelin site couldnt locate any articles on the PS2 nor on the dunlop site for sport maxx
tirerack has some tests that arent as opinionated/vague as the user reviews:
http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tests/bs_RE050A_rd.jsp
http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tests/...sport_maxx.jsp
PS2 looks to be a great tire but the numbers dont really show it to be $200/set better than sport maxx or GS-D3 (set of each of these tires costs almost the same)

My IS 250 AWD
Came with the Bridgestone Potenza's, which I have since given to a friend for their 02 Nissan Maxima. At least I got some goodwill out of these pieces of junk...I put a whopping 900 miles on em before getting my Toyo Proxes.

One major reasons for the existence of stats is to make predictions based on very small (relatively speaking) samples.
I don't know if it'll stay #1 but I'd be willing to wager that it will stay near the top after many more miles and reviews.
