I had 35% all around-- looked great until I got pulled over California. Now I have 35% on the rears and nothing on the front :\

I have 53 in the front and 23 for the rear . I think it turned out pretty good. I live in Cali too so I'm a bit apprehensive when a cop comes up behind me. So far, no tickets (knock on wood).

22% in SJ is a bit dark. But I see a lot of cars like that.

Here is my tint setup, 5% all the way around and the winshield is somewhere between 40-50%.

I live in Arizona and this is very helpful in the summer.

I guarantee he has to roll his windows down at night. 5% and 50% on front is super dark. 5% all around by itself is difficult to see at night. When you add to the front windshield it drastically cuts the amount of light able to enter the car which makes your sides look WAY darker. I get pulled over 2-3 times a year in Cali for 13% and I have to constantly roll my windows down when backing up at night. Of course it could all be dependent on the lighting of the area at that time.

I always drive with my windows down at night (unless my GF *****es about her hair) so that is not too much of a problem.

Arizona's roads are just Giant square/Grid, and is always well lit, so I am good at night.

HIDs coming soon, if they make it better at night then I will keep it, if not the front tint will come off.
