Where are you planning to get it tinted at? N motion? I read on RS that they have a promotion right now for tints

Well I think it depends on your interior color. If its dark you almost can't tell the front windows aren't tinted. Here in California it's illegal to have your front windows tinted. Just depends on how much you want to risk it. I don't want to risk it at all so my fronts aren't tinted.

It all depends on the cops in your area.

I used to have 5% all around but got pulled over after 6 months. Now I have 15% and havent been bothered

Yeap, NMotion's doing a 25% sale and me and a couple of friends are going to get it done, I haven't heard anything bad about SolarGard, plus it's a lifetime warranty and I think they'll be in business still in a couple of years lol, pretty popular.

Here's a couple old pics. Like i said if you have dark interior it's really hard to tell at most angles. The only angle you can obviously tell is a side profile.

I'm getting my rear windows tinted on my Tungsten Pearl 350 with Formula One Classtic Tint, what percentage should I go with 15% or 35%?

This is 35% all around on my ride. In the shade and in the sun. If you're in CA and wanna do ALL windows, do 35%. If just the rears then do 15%

I got a 09 Silver IS 250 and i live in north jersey.

I live in North Jersey also and I got my tints about a year or so ago at Untouchable Sounds in Elmwood Park. This is the second car I had done with them. Good service and it costs me $150 to do 5 windows, 20%. It also comes with a lifetime warranty which I think is great. If I were to do it again I would probably do 15% but then again I have 20 right now and actually just got pulled over on rt 80 a week or so ago by a state trooper because of "heavy tints." In the end it's all a matter of preference.

150 is an amazing price. I had to get 3 cars tinted in one day to get a combo discount, which came out to be 150 a pop. I'm assuming this is not ceramic tint we're taking about it, though. If it is, then that's one hell of a good deal! Ceramic tint usually starts at 300.
But yeah, I currently have 15% tint. I had 20% in my previous car and I prefer the 15%. If you're afraid of getting a ticket, then 35 is the way to go. But at that point, why get tint at all then? 35% will make you wonder if there's tint on it!!
