Can you change color of lightbulb after doing HID conversion? is it basically the same lightbulb you use for ur headlight, but through a HID kit, that same lightbulb is brighter? am i on the right tracK?

The color depends on the Kelvin. You can get 3000k (yellow) HIDs for the fogs and something between 4000k to 12000k for headlights, but anything after 8000k isn't that good because it starts to lower the amount of good light you can use (sorry forgot term for it).

I'd do a search for the Kelvin table and also see more pics of what others have had done to determine what you want. Check out the lighting forums on this site too. Lots of info there.

Noyka and other brands are usually 2500k or 3000k which is like pure yellow while OEM fogs are more close to white than yellow.

I was just messing around with fog lamp bulbs this weekend. For the 2009 awd, you have to take the wheel well cover slightly off, not all the way off for both sides. Very easy to do, like 10 min per side. It was like 2 clips and a screw.

I also do not have the access cover on the drivers side. My car is an '08 IS 250 AWD

Also, for everyone who has done this before, how much were you able to pull the liner out? I had no problem taking out the initial stuff but it seemed like the liner on both sides seemed especially stubborn. I put everything back because I couldn't open the hole up large enough to even see the fog light connector

Just do the fender method on both sides, I couldn't do it from the access cover.

Is their an access cover on the 2011 250's? I hate messing with the fender liners if I don't have to.

Anyone know how to get the fender clip's retainer off? I got the clips off easily but cannot seem to get the retainer off to pry the fender back
