those lights look good but how yellow are they? are they significantly different from the hid fog lights?

i was thinking of getting either the 3000k 9006 hid fog lights from AAC or XD. any suggestions which one is better or any pics of cars installed with them??

also how hard is it to install the hids?

my guess the best way to install HID's in the fogs would be to remove the front bumper

Their is a small screw on the bottom of the front bumper that holds the front lip on. It is easy to remove and is a must in order to pull out the plastic wheel well wall. Yellow fogs are a must, but with the reflector beam, they are not as powerful as the first gen's projector beam. It is a mod worth doing because the factory cream stock lights look terrible.

Default Takes like 15-20 minutes tops!

For left side (driver side) you should go through the fender lining...it makes it way much easier instead of going through that small hole! All you have to do is remove the 2 clips and if you really want to play it safe, remove the lower clip that secures the lip & fender lining...

Went with the Nokya Artic Whites...was running yellow, but everyone seems to be doing it! No offense to the 1st gens, but needed to go with something different for the 2nd gens!

I noticed Nokya has several wattages for their 9006 Arctic whites. Would 100 W be too high? Has anyone tried running the 100Ws?

thanks in advance

Yes...100 W is too high, so make sure when you purchase those you pick up 2 Stage 2 high wattage capacity wiring harness...so you don't fry your stock harness! I'm running 7000k 80W Artic Whites...

How are your 7000k 80w artic whites going?

I just bought some Nokya 2500k 70W and see if the wattage was ok.

Just used these instructions to install some new fog bulbs. Worked perfect. I have an 07 350 and it did not have the access panel though...

Other than that, great DIY instructions!
