thanks for the diy!
They are brighter than what we had in there prior. Not too yellow where it looks dark. Have not had a chance to drive it at night yet though. Just tested it out in the garage, like in the pics, after install.

Certain angles you can see the yellow. Not bad though. I'll have to post a few more pics huh?

Hey Will

I think the fogs look better with the yellow!!
Espically the effect it will give the housing in the day time..
Plus it pays homage to us 1st Gen IS owners..

- Oops.. I knew that too... I was posting to fast last night..

Nice job!

Will do so on my IS this weekend since I've never figured out how to do it and was afraid I would break something in the process of bending the fender wall.

This might be off topic but has anyone figured out to rewire the lights to just have the fogs on? I don't want to do it because it looks rice but it is actually useful when it is foggy and just have to fogs on. I know on some European cars, you can just turn on the fogs without head lights.

^^ How does having only the fogs on constitute as rice?

To the OP.. you did a great job. Thanks a lot as I'm sure many people will benefit from this tutorial.

Installed my fogs last night. The driver side couldn't be any easier. But the passenger side.....Maybe I should take a picture of my hand, many red marks and cuts, just from sticking my hand in there. And no, I do not have fat hands.

Mike,
Check post #12 on this thread. I think someone already linked it to my.IS. No need to be afraid. Not that bad to do at all. Half hour tops. Just make sure to wear some gloves.
Have yet to take the time to figure it out how to get the fogs to light without the headlights. I'd love to have this mod though. I did it on my GS and I also did it on the Prelude I had before I got my GS.

Kinda new to the idea of "yellow" fogs. Why yellow?
