The reason the pictures are gone (your original question) is because the thread is so old and the links are dead, dead, dead, and unless you have this problem what's the use of asking for someone to post old pictures?

so u rather have new ISX50 owners cluttering up the forum with new threads instead of useing the search button digging up already vaulable info. from the past? ohiostate was asking a simple question of a picture so he can visualy see what to look for if it ever happens to his car.

i wish new ISX50 owners use the search button more often.

So, no pictures? I'd like to show a picture to the tint tech when I go in. I think a picture is worth a thousand words.

Ok the pics aren't great but my cd drive on my mac blew up so I had to use the phone and email myself the pics lol. I took the car to lexus and they replaced them under warranty, they called me when they were done and that's when I remembered I was supposed to take pics lol so the service guy went and got the removed pillar for me to take a few pics

I searched for a good tinter and the guy I went to had nothing but rave reviews on google from people that own luxury cars and saying every time they buy a new car they take it to him.....guess I had bad luck or maybe he has a new tint guy since the reviews I figured with the rave reviews I wouldn't have a problem but the tint job sucks and he f'd up the pillar and told me the bubbles in the tint will work out in a month....ha ha yeah right...he offered to fix it but I don't think I want him touching my car again!!

How did they replace them under warranty? Did they say it was a manufacturer defect or did you tell them the tinter melted it? The same crap happened to me even after I warned them about this issue.

I had the same heat gun damage on the same area after tinting window. I will never go back to the tint shop again. Dealer fixed it free of charge no questions asked. I just played dumb but I'm sure they knew it was heat gun damage.

Mine was going in to have the passenger door panel replaced cause the leather had a big bubble in it, so I just told him that the pillar had bubbles in it and he just said I'll order a new one. No questions asked. The lexus dealership I go to is awesome about fixing any problem no questions asked.
