get the V1 if ur smart...please dont waste your money...my best friend has a 350Z and obviously he had about 6 tickets in a year...so he had to take an 8 hour defensive driving course...in that he learned that cops have this new system of speed dection, its all VASCAR....it take the cops rader to a half a mile radius and shows all the cars in that radius and the speed of exh vehicle....AS I KNOW im sure not every cop out there has one of these...but there is a solution, GET A CB RADIO!!!! those truckers will tell u 10 miles in advance where the cops are....and guess what a CB radio only cost $100

My Beltronics has a range of two miles... and I have thwarted a Laser wielding cop already. I am very happy with it. The unit has paid for itself three or four times already!

Escort 8500 X50 blue- the blue goes really well with the IS gauges. I also got the hardwire kit from Escort so theres a mute button and blinking indicator on my steering column. Love it...

I love my K-40, kinda expensive but I didn't want anything visible from inside the car (with the exception of the two LED's). It has saved my *** countless times in the last year.

Now that this didnt happen as planned I still have my car and I am planning on the RS4 or M3 coupe now I have to go buy a new one?? Lucky member on here that got it from me....ugh!

You can save a few pennies by buying a used one on eBay, but check its serial number on the Valentine Web site to make sure that its running the latest software.

Besides being able to lock out all false alerts, the 9500i senses your speed and automatically sets the detection sensitivity level accordingly. It automatically sets the brightness of the display by sensing the ambient light. It also has auto mute. After several loud audio alerts the audio is reduced to a very low alert, automatically. When the detector is alerted it automatically displays your current speed. You also can have the detector display current speed or the vehicle's voltage level all the time.
