Does the manual tell you? If it doesn't, you can just take that bulb into a autoparts store and just compare it.

I was planning to change these dome lights as it is the same one for the door lights that lit up when you open the door, I just havent got the chance to measure the length of the dome light which could be 1.25 in or 1.5 in.

well after you measure it out.. tell us. it seems like the Xenon Super White Festoon Dome Light Bulbs will look the best. (the last one on http://autolumination.com/festoon.htm) only $1.50. pretty cheap

It took me five months to figure out that the car actually had a trunk light. I never expected that the trunk light would have a switch, and that the car would be delivered with the switch turned off. I simply thought that Lexus was cheaping out and only offering the trunk light on cars with the Luxury package--but then I thought why did they provide puddle lamps on my car but no trunk light. So I did a search and learned something new. Thanks guys.

On the replacement bulbs, the stock light does appear pretty weak--has anyone ordered a replacement. Based on the cross-reference chart, it looks like the 3022 , 1.25 inch (31MM) is the correct bulb size. Which one should throw off the most light, the 6 LED, the Xenon or something else?

I just measure the original bulb, it is 29mm (1 1/8inch?).
However I was able to fit 36mm in there. (I dont recommend this size though).

My IS has it...For all those advanced features on the IS I don't think Lexus save money for something like that...

If you want to convice yourself, you can leave the trunk
pass-thru open and check by looking from inside the car.
No need to get inside the trunk to do this - hehe
