my 1st post..
Howdy guys!
First post here and just wanted to thank you guys for helping me and my fiance make our decision to purchase an IS350! I looked at this board several times to research the vehicle as much as I could.. We ended up trading in our 2001 BMW 530i for the IS350 sport pkg and man, what a blast it is to drive this thing! I am having a hard time containing myself from switching vehicles with my fiance now, but I've convinced her to carpool in the mornings, and now I get to drive it every morning!! anyhow, here is a couple of pics...
Man, look at the reflection!!!
Within 2 hours from taking delivery of the car, I did the Navi/ML hack to enable dvd playback and bluetooth while moving... of course, thanks to the help from this board!!
Anyhow, just had to share.
Cheers!

Hey guys, thanks for the warm welcome... I am definitely feeling the fuzzies!!!!
Regarding the first picture, when we picked it up at the Dealership, it was already parked like that for us to pick up, and the same thought ran through my head. The first thing I did was inspect the front end to make sure there was no damage there!!!
I am very impressed at the clearance of the vehicle considering how low it looks and not to mention I have the sport package.
My fiance did get owned a total of 3 TIMES!!!! on the BMW 530 we traded in. On the BMW's, these parking blocks spell DISASTER because the bumper slides over nicely, but when you back up, it anchors like a ship onto it... Once, she left the front bumper at HOME DEPOT, Twice, she came home with the bumper hanging off on one side... NOT FUN.
