Planning to purchase IS 350
I wanna get IS350 but looks like i'd have to wait for the color or package i want. If i have to wait to get IS 350, maybe by then 07 IS might come out w/ some update. I have a few questions. What do lexus usually update w/? and when does the next model year usually come out? Thanz for any inputs.

Well when I got my GX 470 2005 they added a few stability control things and fixed a few problems. I would say lexus might have just one new nifty item to put into the car come 2007. They always do that. But performance and designe wise nothing will change. Also it took my dealership 3 months to get my IS from japan. Cars so hot right now. But the wait is well worth it don't worry.

For 07 there probably wouldn't be much at all. Most ilkely a few tweaks here and there for issues. But there really wasn't anything major right now that warrants such "fixes". Other than that.....I probably foresee the Remote Engine Start?? They are offering it now for the 07 Camry & Avalon as a option.

There shouldn't be any big changes for the MY2007.
They''ve already fixed the AWD floor mat fiasco. The only major problem of the IS that I can think of are the complaints of manual for the 350 and the disabling of VDIM. Because of Lexus philosophy of comfort/safety superceding performance/handling, I doubt there will be changes on that part (at least for the sedan). The coupe/convertible may address those issues though...
