Default Windshield wiper help

Take a look at my passenger-side wiper. It sits quite a bit higher than my driver-side wiper and is annoying me! I don't think that position is normal, so I would imagine I could adjust it to sit correctly, but I'm not seeing how to do it at casual inspection. Any input?

Without looking at it in person, my guess would be that when the wiper arm was installed, it wasn't lined up correctly. The arm attaches to a spline, so you can attach it at a variety of angles. There should only be a single bolt holding it on... takes about 2 minutes to pull if off and re-attach in the correct orientation.

Yeah, I just went out and looked at mine and yours is sitting too high. It's under warranty. Have dealer fix it.

I agree with McFly; it's an easy one bolt R&R operation that shouldn't take more than a minute or two. I'd probably fix it myself, but Iif you don't like to wrench Ray Catena would also take care of it for you.

I sell cars at toyota and when we used to get the old body style avalon in some wipers were higher than others just like your car. Its a quick fix. It always annoyed me though looking at it from the inside of the car.

I had already tried pushing it down prior to posting this...no dice. I looked in the manual and no mention of the wipers having winter/summer modes. Thanks anyway.

P.S. So I'll stop payment on that bill for now?

Sorry for bringing up an old thread, but how does one actually do the adjustment? I think I see the cover at the base of the arm, but not sure how it is supposed to come off. It's an '06 car, so not sure if it's just stuck due to never been taken off, or am I doing something wrong... Thanks!
