ninezero and/or yellowssm, I'm pulling the trigger and ordering a set of 19x8.5 / 19x9.5. What is the correct offset I should be using, I don't mind waiting for the correct one. And I def prioritize no rubbing over looks as I will not be the only one driving the IS.
Thanks in advance

I also have heard you can run 46 front and 40 back and it wont rub, this info came from volk themselves. Its up to you I guess they all say they work but until I get mine I cant tell you for sure.

i like volk wheels a lot. your GT-7 came out great. i would have gotten the GT-U if 19inch size was available. one negative about volk wheels is that they are too popular. every IS here ride on volks. Can't blame volk/rays for having great wheels, great quality, and pretty decent price. you definately can't go wrong with volks.
congrats on this purchase.

just out of curiosity, what would the difference be in running +36 all around like NINEZeRo did, opposed to running another offset like +46F and +40 R? Would the lip be bigger with the +36? Any difference in how flush the wheels would be to the body?

im curious what is the inches on your lips of the rims. and what tire size do you have because i ordered my rims yesterday and its going to take 4-6 weeks to get here but im just curiouse because it almost looks like the same staggared look as the ones that i ordered

Volk wheels with 36 front and 46 front offset have the same size lip, i think a little over 2 inches.
Back offset of 40 the lip is 2.72 inches
Back offset of 36 the lip is 3.19 inches
I went for 36 all the way around cause I want the fatty lip in the back.

You will get wider lip when your offsets are smaller since this will push the face plate towards the inside of the rims. Consequently, the edges will stick out and if you do an agressive drop, it will increase the chances of rubbing on the fenders.

If 36 and 46 on the fronts have the same lip then what's the advantage of gettign one over the other if both apparently won't rub and from the pics in this thread +36 looks pretty darn close to flush.
