I haven't bought an IS yet but the IS350 is really the only car on the list. I tend to keep a car until something new catches my eye. I'll keep driving my current car (03 Acura CL-S 6 speed) until supply catches up with demand on the IS350 and I can find the exact spec car I want on the lot w/o special ordering.

My younger brother is going to graduate from USC this May needs a new car. He doesn't want to spend that much $$$ though, so he's planning on getting a tC (same as his initials), or a Matrix.

Sometimes, price trumps luxury...

i was about to buy an 06 m3 and trade in my 330ci...but when it came down to it...i could keep my car and get a is350 for about the same price....and im glad i did...short trips the bmw is great...but going to like LA from sf is nice...hold more people and luggage and plenty of power.. its a great compromise...

I would have bought a Prius if the IS350 didn't come out this year.

CTS-V 400HP V8+stick, but interior sucked.
Acura TL, but had way too much torque steer for my liking.
BMW 3 series, but two family members have had way too many reliability problems with theirs.

My dealer just called yesterday. My IS350 will be here at the end of the month.
Exactly a 4 month wait..

Bimmer 3 series, Acura TL, Subaru Legacy GT, VW Passat. I didn't consider Audi or Infiniti because there were no local dealers here.

E46 M3, but it was too expensive. That being said, the only other choice was the 350.

I was pretty close to a deal on a Legacy GT, a great car for the money. Subaru was too short on features and had so so brakes.

I have an 04 TL and am looking forward to dumping that front wheel drive designer accord (though it is about the best value out there).

I wanted a CTS-V but after driving it, ran the other way. Power to dream about, shifter from k mart and as has been mentioned above junk interior (what a waste of good alcantara).

BMW 330i
Mazda RX-8
Infiniti G35c
and to a lesser extent Mercedes C320
But after plenty of research, IMO the IS350 offers more for its class than any of those cars.

When my salesman changed the ETA from 5 weeks to 4 months, I started looking at the M3 and S4. Then another dealer found a car with the exact same specs, so ended up purchasing the IS350 as originally planned.

Nice napa. I keep telling people they need to look at more then one dealer. To many people on here keep comming up with well i had to specail order my vechile cuz they dont make black cars here in (enter you state here). The fact is they do and you need to check with more then one dealer and youll find you car like we have. I would have been waiting months too if i didnt pick up my deposit and go to another dealer.

Quick Reply: If you didn't buy an IS350 what else would you have bought?
