What one thinks really is a good color on the IS
Hi all,
just getting ideas of what would be a stunning color on the IS. I am going in for the Black with Cashmere, but inputs would help as only got to see few colors at the dealors.
So any IS owners with their thoughts of the best combination. thnks.

thats what I am worried about the black, at present do have a black RX, they look sharp but than really gets dirty easily and always needs a wash. I was thinking of the smokey granite mica.

I haven't owned a white car since my new 1966 Plymouth. (Yeah I'm THAT old). I have owned many black cars as well as other colors. I love my Crystal White IS350!!! It's nice to have a white car back in the stable. Easy to keep looking great.

I've always liked darker colors too. SMG and Black Onyx are my favorite so far. Darker colors just look more sleek and tight IMO. In the end, you need to picture yourself in each color & decide which color you see yourself looking more pimp in.

I've had issues deciding on color as well. I think that the shape of the IS lends itself better to a lighter color, but I like dark colors in general. Honestly none of the colors have jumped out at me as being "perfect" for the car. I'm curious to see what new colors choices will be available in 07. Matador red would be hot if it was more "Red" and less " Maroon"

Make sure you see them in person
The one thing that stands out for me most with picking a color for this car is that the car always looked so different when I saw it in person vs pictures!
For me it was a tough choice between Crystal White and Matador Red. I went to the dealer w/ White in mind, saw the White and loved it. Then a week later when I went back and saw the Red and was like WOW. We should all have to make such tough choices
As you can see at the end I bought the Red.
Point is go see the colors your considering in person.
That's my .02
The good news IMHO is that no matter what color you get the IS is one AWESOME ride
Enjoy,
