Default Nail in my tire.

Today I finally brought my car into the dealership to have my tire patched. So they took my car and told me it would be about an hour. So I sat down with a service writer and gave him my tire and wheel warrenty certificate, and he calls and can't get threw so I told him no big deal I'll send it in myself, he said it's only $20, so after about an hour and half my car is ready and he said no charge it's on the house.

Was that the warranty that they were offering for $299 that you were going to use?

Cool

Thanks. I bought it also. I always attract nails and a lot of times I have to replace the tires. Had to get two rims on my last IS so I figured $299 was well worth it.

Can you guys tell me something? Are the 18" tires on the IS250 run flat tires?

Thanks hogchow -

I'm currently trying to decide between the Lexus IS250 and the BMW 323. The thing is that I'm having a house built right now and I know that I'm going to get something stuck in my tire over the next year while it's in construction. From what I hear, on the run flat, they have to be replaced no matter what. I think that on the IS I could at least just pay to have it patched...correct?

Is this really what its going to come down to? The tires?
OK OK fine get the IS cuz the tires can be patched. But youll end up with som much more then just a repairable tire.
