Special Order IS350 wait times
Wanted to get an update on how the wait time is going for those who special ordered IS350's.
In my case I had one ordered first week in January and the dealer "LOST" the order so I am now starting all over here on March 1st.

Order's are usually batched and sent in on the...
20th of the month. The fastest will be about 3 months and the worst about 4 and a half months depending on how close you were to the batch date.

Hell it may not be ordered Yet!!
How or what can we ask for to make sure the order has taken?

First Id go to another dealer.. If they cant even get your order correct what else will they do wrong.
Second I would think you may be able to get a better price now. Dealers seem a little more open to negotiation in the past month.
If its the only Lexus dealership around make a big stink, demand to speak to the GM, owner, etc.. get everyone involved. Tell them that you want this problem resolved and if it isnt resolved to your satisfaction youre going to let everyone you know, and all those on the forums know what a crappy dealership they are.

I just hit the 10 week mark the other day...Order went in Dec 20. Dont know how much more waiting I can take.
Also my dealer hasnt told me much about my order, and hasnt replied to my email yet (about a week old). Starting to get a little irritated

Was expecting to wait 60-90 days from dealer. Happened to call dealer last week and they checked the computer, found what I wanted coming to port, put my name on it. Told me it takes a week to get to the dealer from port.
Current wait time: 27 days.

ordered mine the end of oct. 2005..got it last week...took almost 4 mths...got two phone calls from my dealer the whole time..when it got to the port in cali..and exactly 14 days later when it arrived at the dealership...just gotta be patient i guess.
