Cool Drl

You Can't Turn The Drl's Off Unless You Unplug Them! There Is No
Customize Function Feature For This. This Info Is From The Owners
Manual Page 51-53. Maybe They Have Some Special Powers To Customize Features That Aren't Avaliable Over At Rockville.

DRL's off is a C-best setting. Any Lexus technician can turn them off if the management will let them (mine didn't).

It Looks To Me Like The Car That You Have Pulled Up On The Scan Tool Is An 06 Gs430
We Are Discussing An 06 Is250 Here!

First off, I want to say that I don't have the new key fob and engine start button on my car. In case someone flame me.

I have the regular Lexus key (see image below). I can say that this key is very rugged. I once put it in the washer accidentally. The key works fine afterward. That was like three years ago. I would think that the new key fob would be waterproof as well.

MANY people on these boards have had their 2IS DRL's turned off in this fashion.

Bradley, they can certainly be turned off. Your dealer is just to timid or doesn't want to look up the procedure.
