that's one helluva big key fob to be carrying--wait till the cold season is over and you're wearing T-shirt and shorts. The JDM always gets more products/features/selections (cars and electronics alike) due to different market needs and safety requirements--doesn't necessarily mean it's better. Many Japanese cars have rear window wipers and front fender markers (the kind that stick out like an antenna) that have no practical use in the U.S.

I'm still waiting to see if this starter is compatible with our cars here in the US. I'd imagine that the screen is for a 2-way starter system (to see if the engine started, temperature inside the car, etc.). My guess is that it isn't a 2-way alarm, but maybe it is.

I would get this instantly if only it was guaranteed to work. Carson said that the parts alone are $850!! Let along finding someone to install it.
