just after the seatbelt recall, the passenger one didn't work! So I had warrantee repair. In addition, I had some fuel pipe/cap issue where it wasn't sealing properly so it would throw a CEL and disable my VDIM. I have about 15000 miles since Nov 05. I drive it 20 miles/day and I really DRIVE it. I split the miles between winter tires and the sportmaxx - rear sportmaxx is at 1/2 tread and winter tires are at 3/4 tread.

19,300 since September 2006 (6 months!) and I've already blown through one transmission.....lol actually Lexus decided to replace my 6 spd manual due to the grinding issue going into 4th gear.

At this rate I'm headed for about 40k/year. eeek!

I had the same problem in the past when I owned a 97 Camaro SS. It came from the factory and SLP Engineering with synthetic oil in the transmission. I would occasionally grind going into 2nd. The transmission guy at the dealer replaced the oil with regular GL-5 plus and it stopped grinding into 2nd. The reasoning was that synthetic oil was either too slippery or didn't have the viscousity needed for the syncros to come up to speed. If you double clutched into second, it would probably never grind.

BTW, I'm at 1300 miles in 2 months with no real problems. I had a slight squeak in the center console that was fixed with some felt tape.

almost 26K Purchased in Nov 05 IS250 RWD
No major problems. *Knock on wood* Just the dash rattle thanks to the shop that hard wired my radar for me saying that they will not remove or tamper with the dash to do the install.

13.5K since purchase on Dec '05. Car still feels new, minus the occasional wind noise from the passenger side. Overall, no major complaints... and lots of SMILES!

I just turned 85K on my 06 IS250.
The motor still strong and the 6spd tranny still rattles like crazy but no issues.
As for my wife's car, her IS has 7K on the odometer and the valve cover is leaking oil, the motor has to be taken out but it's cover under the TISB EG-001 from Lexus.

40,300 give or take a few. I had the dash rattle early on and Lexus took care of it at service #1 or #2 I don't recall exactly. They also replaced my original brake pads under a TSB. Otherwise no serious problems.

I would love to have fewer miles, but I'm average for Atlanta driving, and since I'm self-employed and driving for myself I might as well drive something I enjoy.

I plan to get 200K minimum. .

you just made me feel a lot better Im at 45060 and my only problem has been the timing chain seal somehow blew but was covered under warrenty... the service advisor dangled in my face that if i drove another 100 or so miles i would have blown the motor and gotten a new one

33,000 miles

Brake TSB had been done longg ago
at 30,000 i got the Engine crank on startup. It went away on its own before i could make the appointment, and has not returned
at about 22,500 miles, the seal on my rear windshield became loose,a nd lead to a VERY noticeable rattle, which was fixed under warranty, although very recently (30,000 or more), its come back.. I am making another apptment to have it fixed

other than those, my baby is still my baby =)
