Default nav override...

i have the nav w/o ML. what i want to know is, is there a way to do the override and make it permanent? i;d rather not have to do the the screen touching thing everytime i get in the car. from what i understand the nav hack does not accomplish this. is it even possible?

There is a variation of the nav hack that does it, but it makes nav screen updates much more "jumpy". Read the original nav hack threads for details.
