You missed a poll entry.

Don't care one way or the other. That would be my vote.

I doubt it. In Europe people actually stay in the travel lanes unless they're passing. Hell, in Ireland people literally drive off the road to get out of your way if they think you want by them. I need to emmigrate....

Perhaps they thought you got separated from the rest of the funeral procession.

When I've driven in NC (Calabash area), I've generally found drivers to be much more polite and accomadating than those up here. Then again, the ones here in NJ are pansies compared to drivers in Boston, home to the most aggresive drivers I've ever encountered.

I totally agree with the reasoning on Dusk and Dawn, hence, I have ALWAYS driven with my lights ON during those times. Heck, I even drive with my lights ON all day on cloudy, overcast days. However, at 1 pm, on a bright sunny day, I just don't see how a lack of DRLs would be the cause of a collision or a near miss. If people are having multiple near misses IN BROAD DAYLIGHT because the other car doesnt have DRL's, they have serious vision problems! Big pink letters on the front bumper that say "DON"T HIT ME" may be necessary for them.
I agree. If it's bright in the middle of the day, you have to be blind for DRLs to improve the situation.

To add to it, I don't like how the DRLs mask the front aesthetic of the IS—they're too close together—and it looks much less aggressive with them on. I just leave the HIDs on all the time. I don't care if their expensive to replace.

I agree. Would MUCH prefer DRLs in a whiter hue. After all, Lexus made our map lights, license plate light, and console cupholder light in a "cool white/blue" hue, why not the DRLs too?

Isn't the DRL's the highbeam 9005 bulbs?

I don't "hate" the DRL's per say. But I would prefer to have them off. I think the car looks better without it IMO. The half intensity is kinda blah.

But I do realize it does have it's good uses. I see plenty of people here in my area that forget to turn on their darn headlights!! So cars like the Camry, Accord, I notice their DRL's at night. I think that's a plus for DRL's.
