It is a photogenic color, but in person, I've found the Lexus silver to be a letdown for some reason, unlike Audi's silver, which I love. Odd that.

I have the Matador Red and I really like it. The one unexpected benefit of red is that it minimizes the effect of the curves and swoops in the tailights, which are also red. Other colors, especially the lighter ones, really intensify the effect of the molded lights, (which is the only design cue of the car that I find a little unusual.)

I've got the Matador Red over Cashmere and yesterday coming back from breakfast 2 different guys passed me on the freeway with a thumbs up!
I agree it is a more maroon but the metalflake looks great in the sunlight.

I've got the Matador and it's really nice. No doubt it reveals more imperfections in the paint, as well as dirt, but like everyone's been saying...the red looks simply brilliant in the sun. The extra attention can be a good thing or bad thing, depending on your desire to fly stealthy.
