I'll be getting the kit very shortly and wanted to see if anyone wanted to give me a hand....maybe someone that's already installed the HID on their 250/350 ???

I'll buy your dinner for some help!

I had a quote from a performance shop to install my HID for $75. Bring it to a shop and let them do it right if you're not familiar with it. The price you have to pay if something wrong happen will be a lot more than 75 bucks.

I just installed an HID kit on my 350 down in Houston at my parents house. I've never done one before this one and it was not too hard to do, just take your time. I would help you, but I live in Dallas.

There is nothing difficult about installing aftermarket HIDs. The HARDEST part is trying to find a location for the boxes ... but that changes with the car and I don't know about the IS because I still haven't received mine

BTW, what HID kit did you end up getting??

I know its probably not that hard, its just much easier with another set of eyes or with someone that has done it.

Went with the Proxenon kit $268 shipped 4300K...I wanted a lot of lite, not blue...just white.

supposedly plug and plug....disconnect the orig bulbs, plug-in the new wires where you disconnected the bulbs, route the wires thru the headlite cover (1"? hole has to be drilled), mount the ballast.
