Ya thats true....i guess snow mode will get you better mpg only if ur driving like on the freeway or something at crusing speeds

No, it won't. If you're driving at a constant speed, Mars could swing within 50 miles of earth, your ears could magically graft themselves onto your chin, and a baby in Singapore could shed a single tear of gold. But you'd still get exactly the same gas mileage cruising at a constant speed regardless of what position that button is in.

But like wat i said before, when i was cruising at about 75-80 mph in normal mode the reading on the display of my current mpg was showing just below 30, but then when i switched to snow mode it went up to just over 30 mpg......so from the display it shows i will get better gas mileage but who knows how accurate that is

Easy enough to find out. Run a tank one why, then the other. Calculate your mpg the old fashioned way... total miles divided by number of gallons put back in the tank.

Default ECT Switch

What exactly does ECT stand for? I can't find it anywhere in the manual or on this forum. Does anyone know?

Thanks

I didnt break my car in recommended by the manual and the different between on and off is also like day and night. You suspected wrong. I love the button.
