I spent 12 years in the Navy as an Air Traffic Controller. Got medically discharged out (injured in the field on exercises with the Marines). Wife wanted me to be a stay-at-home husband (who am I to argue?) after that. Did that for about a year before I had to do something. Started part time at Advance Auto Parts, moved to full-time as asst Mgr within 6 months. Did that until my wife took a job offer in So. Cal, so I became a house husband again. We have one son. Child care in Cali would eat up all the money I made if I worked here, so I am happy to do this until he can stay home by himself. Got a few more years to go. I'll likely go back into the retail Auto Parts side again because I enjoined doing it.

TL;DR: I'm a stay-at-home dad.

Lol. My wife is a Pharmacist, and I always tell people she is a drug dealer since when I say I'm a stay-at-home dad the next question is always "What does your wife do?" She got out of the retail side of Pharmacy a few years ago and is not a Sr. Manager @ AMGEN.
