I just spoke to my dealer (Bobby Rahal in Harrisburg, PA) and the parts department says that the parts are TBD, or not available. To those who had theirs installed, do you have the PN's for the unit and the install kit? Are these parts not available in all areas? Thanks.

Pumper, my dealership told me the same thing until I gave them the receiver part number - 86180-0W030. For some reason, people at the factory are still telling the dealerships that XM won't be available until March...not sure what the mix-up is.

To you guys who have your XM installed already, can you answer two questions for me?

1) Is it truely as integrated with the Nav as they claim?

and most importantly (my biggest fear)

2) Does the satellite radio info black out on the Nav when the car is moving like some of the other information? I'm praying it doesn't but I wouldn't put it past them.

Congrats on getting your XM installed already! I'm waiting for the Sirius parts and assume control and features will be primarily the same.

Thanks!
Justin

Thanks for the update guys! Can't wait to see some shots of that XM in action. Also can't wait to see how it works with the car in motion. Best of luck getting your car tonight!

1. yes it's integrated with the Nav . but it gives limited info.. until you press the "text" button. Then it will list the band and song title. not as much info as on a add in Sat radio, but still good

2. nope info is still available while car is moving.

Foxberry,

I called the dealership today and gave them the PN. The parts guys said, "Sorry, that's an invalid part number." He also said there should be 2 PN's, one for the receiver and one for the kit. Could you please re-check the # you posted to be sure it is accurate. Also, check whether the "O's are numbers or letters. Thanks for the help.

That is wierd. When I read my service rep that receiver part number...bingo!...he had it in the next day. I rechecked the number and it is correct...and they are all zeros, not the letter "o".

The kit number is 86100-0W150-01

I had XM installed yesterday. The part numbers on the boxes are:

Mounting Kit
86100-0W150

Tuner Assy
86180-0W030

The same part numbers can also be found on the install instructions found
http://techinfo.lexus.com

I had the same experience as Foxberry. Dealer received it the next day.
