DVD/NAV Override (play DVDs while driving)
Hi folks, I've been following along with the great discussions and tips on the new IS. Anyways, I was wondering about the DVD/Nav override. I've seen the hack about cutting wires and such. I was down at Magic Auto & Sound in Norwalk, CA and asked about it. The guy said that it's a $900 part. Has anyone else tried to find out about this "part" or is he just jibbing me and he'd do the same wire cutting hack while charging me $900?

As for the NAVI mod post, check the FAQ that the mods have stickied at the top of the forum. There is a link in there.

You can still hack your nav to allow some functions, but it won't play DVDs without ML
