Default Bad to Shift from Automatic Drive to manual Sports mode?

I was wondering if it is bad to shift from normal Drive to the manual Shift mode. I like to drive aggressively sometimes, and when I see a moment, i usually like to pop it into sports mode for added umph! and then back to drive when my craving is fulfilled.

Is it bad to do this often while moving often? I find my self doing it like 3 to 4 times normal drives. Anyone else do this too?

I'm just now finding out just how powerful this car really is (initial break in is done!).

I do it all the time too! But of course I shut off the VSC for those heavy footed starts, especially around corners!!!!

That's what it's there for... might as well use it. Mine will basically stay in sportshift mode anyway, expect for the occasional dawdle.

"Me too, I find myself in manual all the time, especially in traffic. Its funny as hell to see the look on the face of the guy behind you because he cant figure out if my break lights are out or if he's just following too close.."

Default That's exactly what it was designed for....

When the situation arises downshift by putting it in the slot or leave it there as others have done and shift + or - with the lever or paddles. Who like the paddles better and why? Still on topic, right?

thanks

Shifting with the paddles yields exactly the same outcome as shifting with the stick. The only reason to use one over the other would be personal preference.

I happen to like the paddles... I'm a F1 fan
