Luxury Package without ML
When I tried to build my IS on the Lexus website using options available in the SoCal area (I tried two different zip codes), I found that they had no stand alone Luxury Package but that all the Luxury packages included the ML sound system (as well as the "preffered accessory package" which I don't want). I've heard that ML is a very rare feature. Does this mean that the Luxury package equipped IS's will also be rare since they only seem to come with ML. Will I be able to find a luxury package without ML. I plan on making the purchase this weekend and I hope to find an IS350 with NV and LT for at least 3-4k off of msrp* here in SoCal. I know I will have $5,479 worth of room to negotiate.

I have a deposit on a Black/Sterling 350 with Luxury and ML/NAV. Good luck finding a 350 with NV and LT packages. After looking half a dozen dealers' upcoming IS350 allocations, I don't think I saw any LT (luxury) package without VN (ML/Nav). Most were Nav + Preferred packages.
Many of the cars coming in this month already have deposits on them. Obviously, some of these people with deposits may not end up buying the car, but the cars are trickling in and wait lists are forming. Demand is still high in SoCal and inventory is low...

Unfortunately, the Lexus website is not the best place to go to "create-your-own" car. Try MSN.com. They can separate each option. The Luxury Package is actually easy to find without ML in SoCal.
By the way, the Preferred Accessory Package is pretty much a "standard" add-on on all Lexus. You can order one without it, but it's hard to find one on a lot without it. Other common add-ons that will be found on almost all current IS in SoCal are 18" wheels and Park Assist.

From what I've been told by my dealer...the options are packaged differently in each region. Until dealers start to get in some more inventory, the only way to make sure you get what you want may be special ordering a car like I had to do. And if you do find a dealership that will discount an IS 3-4K off of sticker...let all of us in TN know where. We are paying full sticker here!

When I purchased my car in November, it was very difficult to locate a car with either Luxury or Sport package w/ Nav. I was only able to find one at Mission Viejo. Sport w/ Nav is rarer than Luxury w/ Nav.
