my brother who has an IS 250 awd brought his into a dealer on long island where he lives and got his nano exactly 1 week after bringing it in. I also have the same car and brought mines into a dealership here in north jersey where i live and i also got my nano exactly 1 week after bringing it in. nano and letter came from corporate so i would think anyone who brings theirs in should recieve this nano as well ??

It looks like I won't be getting one, unfortunately. When I picked up my car last week, they said it didn't apply to mine. It seems like I missed the cutoff of the VIN range by only about 200 cars. I was hoping that they would still report doing the recall service, in hopes of getting me a Nano.

Just talked to Lexus Corporate...Said I indeed was eligible and the recall service was recorded on the 23rd of Jan. Said she'll specifically look into making sure I get the nano...

i recieved a letter from corporate informing me of the recall then after bringing it in they simply sent the nano with a letter of apology a week after i brought the car in. hopefully you get yours soon

I recieved a letter from Lexus Corporate saying i need to bring in my car for the recall, but not mentioning anything about a nano. I recieved this letter like a week after i already got the recall done on my car. I did it on Jan. 4th but still no nano. However, i got a follow-up letter from my dealership about my service being done and it said it was done on Jan.22 even tho it was done on the 4th. Maybe thats why i still havent gotten it yet. I dunno we'll see.

just jumped in. excuse the ignorance. what exactly is the recall and the last time i checked didn't toyota/lexus call these service bulletins (sp) or is this a true government mandated recall-help me out

After talking to Lexus Corporate multiple times, it turns out they had my VIN registered to the wrong owner! That is why I didn't get any letters or the nano. They had to call my dealer and confirm I was in fact the owner and then send out the nano. They said it was probably just a mix-up in paperwork.
I know I signed the form when I bought the car that stated the car was new and had never been registered before, but this is making me a little suspicious.
