Question. Anyone know or have replaced the clear bulbs rear blinker bulbs with amber / yellow ones to see if they will blink amber instead of red with the red outs?

I like the red outs but I also Like the lights to blink amber... want to see if its possible to do both.

Anyone know if installing these bulbs or equivalent will make it blink amber?

it is very easy to take off..just peel it off and then use a little adhesive remover to get rid of the gunk...i've had mine on for a few months now and they are still on there perfectly

rvinyl's just match better no matter what color car

just annoying they don't come pre-cut...but at least they install easier than the aerotect ones.

thanks for posting the pics of the 2, Cathafer.

seeing as how you've tried both and went with the rvinyls, was there something you didn't like about the Aero Tects? i ordered 'em(Aero Tects) earlier this week, and should be getting 'em tomorrow(I hope).

any advice on the install? oh, & can you post pics when you put on the smoked overlays?? thanks!

np john..well first i had the rvinyl, then tried the aero tects and wound up going back to the rvinyls..the aerotects look too dark on the tail lights, and the rvinyls match the red perfectly..you really can not tell that there is vinyl on the tails with the rvinyls..install is very easy, you just need some soaps water...aerotect includes instructions and a squeegee...i tried putting the smoke overlays on my tails, but i couldnt really get them to stretch enough to look right, so i am thinking about spraying them with some spray tint, i'm a little scared tho so i'm still debating lol

yeah, i kind've thought the aero tects were a little dark compared to the rvinyls from the pictures i've seen. just wasn't sure about myself with an exacto knife near my tail lights so the aero tects seemed like a better fit for me. lol

i guess i'll just have to see if i like 'em when i put them on, but i'm sure i'll be albe to live with it.

did you get the smoked tail overlays from aero tect, too? well, thanks for the tips and let me know how the tails turn out. good luck!
