Hi All,

Brand new to the forum - just traded in my 2001 BMW Dinan 330ci (lots 'o mods) for a IS350 (SGM, Black int, Spt pkg, spoiler). Love the car and can hardly wait until the break in period is over.
I know the tire pressure system has been discussed many times but... the day after I got my car I had to get winter tires on (live in Calgary, Ab, Canada) and I went aftermarket as it was WAY cheaper. I didn't get sensors. SO.....

1) I was told by the dealer only a little yellow lite in the bottom right would come on BUT I have the "check system" warning in the information screen PLUS the ! in a red triangle PLUS the yellow lite in the bottom right of the dash. No "beeping" though. IS THIS NORMAL?? Should all these come on or just the little yellow lite in the bottom right? I could live with one light over the winter but not all these.

2) Does the button thing under the dash work? (don't know if I have that in Canadian cars)?
3) Has anyone gone to the dealer and bought 4 new sensors and got them to put them on your winter rims? How much $$ was it???

Don't really want to get all the sensors out of the stock wheels and put them in the spare.

Congrats on the car. I can only answer your question about buying the sensors. (I don't have my IS yet, but have been looking into this) the sensors run $95 each from lexus-parts.com. My local dealer said $135 each. Do some shopping and you will get them under $400 for a set of 4.

I didn't get winter tires but I can answer your question about the cost for the sensors. My dealership was asking $90 CAD + tax for each.
