Detailed C-BEST / LPS List
I know that someone posted a detailed copy of everything in the C-BEST / LPS settings for the IS250/350. It has more options than the handout from the dealer. If anyone has it, could you please post it here? I couldn't find it during my search and I wish I had saved a copy.

I too wanted to have my settings personalized at vehicle pickup but the salesperson stated that Lexus 'wants' you to drive the car with the default settings and tweak your settings at your first service. Oh well...
Here's a link to the pdf:

Yes that might be true for a couple of reasons. When I first read the list, I started thinking I wanted things this way and that way but it turns out the way Lexus has it default is the best way. Instead of me trying to make this car look like my last car, I should try to like the new way...which probably is better. There's only one or two things I would change....so you get one change session free of charge. You can't really know what you want until you live with it awhile.

Looks like Lexus just did a cut/paste on that LPS PDF...
When the vehicle is placed in park, the ignition turned off, and the key is removed from the ignition, the steering wheel can be set ...

I was thinking of the HKS exhaust also, especially if it may give the 350 a little rumble. It has a very quiet idle, I seem to remember. Havn't driven one since the first of November.

I did order the lighted door sills, but since they don;t appear to be P'nP, I cancelled until people find a non-intrusive installation method.

Absolutely. I don't want the 'buzz' sound, or the 'coffee can' muffler sound either. I will have to listen to it first. After some people have mentioned that the ground effects kit doesn't look that much different than standard, I'm talking myself out of it now.
You let us know when they call you to go look at your new car when it arrives. I'm curious as to the number of miles I can expect on it when it arrives.

I expect it to have less than 10 miles on the ODO. My current IS had 14 miles on it when I bought it from the same dealer in '02. And they even had to jockey it around to change tires/wheels before I got there.
Oh yeah, and no front plate holder. Every time I talk or email the dealer I remined them of that (so I have an email record of that). They're good about that, none of their cars have front plate holders unless requested. The other dealer around here, seems to take it as a personal challenge to see how fast they can get a front holder on. It's like they're out there with the electric drill and sheet metal screws in hand while the car is coming off the truck.

Seat belt buzzers
You can turn them off yourself.
From what i remember you get in the car and hold down the trip reset and pust the start button to the run postion, hold the button for at least 10 sec and then while still holding the reset button buckle the seat belt. It should come up on the trip read out " b-on" Push the reset botton and it should switch to "b-off" and that should take care of it. Same goes for pass side, It seems like you should have 3 hands but it can be done. The only thing on the pass side is that you have to keep pressure on the seat so that the "fasten seatbelt" light comes on for the pass. This side is the hardest. Hope this helps
