Default I-Pod in IS 250AWD

I have my IS250AWD and i believe that the plug in the armrest (the small one next to the power adapter) can be used for my I-Pod and that i can then play my I-Pod through the stereo. I've been calling the dealership that I got the car from as to how to do this and can't get too many answers as the car is new to them.... Can anyone help? is there a special attatchment I need?????

Buy a plug that has the same head as the one for the headphones of your Ipod (see picture). Buy a thin one (usually around $10 at most).

Hope that helps. Good luck.

Plugging into the headphone jack of the iPod works, but the headphone amplifier reduces sound quality a bit.

Best solution is something like the sik ram din http://store.sik.com/merchant.mv?Scr...Category_Code=
or the pocket dock http://www.theistore.com/pocketdocklineout.html that allows you to connect the car to the line level output.
