Hey all,

I just installed my led's this weekend (194 xenon white) from the same guy you got yours. I must say mine look really really blue... I would even say too blue. They look way different from my fogs with blue overlays, and my stock low beams (non-hid).

Do any of you think this can be an issue with the cops? I live in Orange County.

I'm not sure if mine are the right ones because they look way too blue to be xenon white. I will post pics tomorrow night to compare.

edit::
I just went to check them again. Pulled them out and ran them outside of the housing. Sure enough they are white white as shown on ebay. It seems the reflection on the housing tends to bend the light some and thus resulting in a bluer color.

I think 6000k HID's will really match these.. Now I'm just wondering where my 6000k kit from XenonDepot are..

If your lights are blue then it's gonna be a problem with cops. I even had the stupid wanna-be hid bulbs on my car and the stupid cop pulled me over and said that it was illegal to have these bulbs installed on my car. I would opt out of the blue ones and just do the super white lights on your car. I was in La Mirada when I got pulled over.

But then again if it's a fix it ticket it's only 10 bucks

Just a little thing for daytime running lights.. for the day time running lights the high beams are used. However, the high beams are used in half the power. So therefore even if you did get a hyper blue / hyper white bulb, the color won't come out as you think it will. I don't know if there's a fix for that but I recommend either getting the led or go to the dealership and have them turn it off. I still haven't found a dealership that will turn it off for me though sorry if I'm repeating what other people have said

I'm always confused with this. Because if our lights are dual beam, xenon for low and high beam, how is it that the daytime running lights (high beams) are non xenon?

Bi-xenon is in our low beams. So the cool thing about the IS is that we have both bi-xenon and high beams. Whenever you use your high beams, they light up and the low beams bend up with the high beams, too. Hope that doesn't sound too confusing.
