Default Does any1 notice a thumping noise when making a sharp u-turn?

I've noticed that my IS350 SP, is making a thumping noise when
I make a sharp U-turn,, i mean when the steering wheel
is turned to the point of it cannot turn anymore.. Well , its not
really a thumping noise, per say, its more of a feeling that
i'm going over 3 or 4 tiny speed bumps, while i make the U-turn...
Or a feeling that the front wheels are "skidding".. Has any1
experienced this? BTW, my car has 200 miles on it so far..

I think I noticed that in my 250 today, 1410 miles. So many so quick.

I've noticed the same thing on my 3GS. I think I only started hearing it after I put on my 18" rims, but I highly doubt that it's rubbing against the wheel well since they are the optional factory wheels. Wonder what it could be...

Freeks everyone UP?

I wonder if it's a problem, because the wheels seems to
turn "too much".

800 miles and it happened to me a few times. I was gonna post this same exact thing later on tonight. But I guess someone beat me to it.

I've heard this as well (3500 miles) starting within the first couple of days I had the car, and it's still continuing now. I just assumed that it was the wheels rubbing against the wheel well (I have the 18" OEMs), and try not to make extremely sharp u-turns unless I absolutely have to.

Regardless, it certainly seems to be something everyone is experiencing, so I'm not too worried.

I hope this doesnt turn into a recall, because wether or not everyone's car
does it,, its defiantly not right... When i pull out of my garage in reverse, i
have to cut the wheel all the way to the left, and the front end "skips"
and makes a thumping noise.. "as if i ran over ice".. I've pulled a dozen
or so cars out of my driveway, and none ever did such a thing, even cars that
had 20" wheels..
