Thanks for the pics man... Looking really good. The wheels with that offset doesn't look like it sticking out at all.

You're right, it doesn't stick out. It's flush with the body. It only rubs on the inside of the wheel well not the fender.

I don't really live in O.C. I am from the San Grabiel Valley. I bought it from Mission Viejo because they were the only one out the six or seven dealers I called who had the IS 350 with Luxury Package and Nav. It was difficult to find a car with either Luxury or Sport Package. My car still had the plactic wrap all over it when I got there. As for their service, I guess it was okay. I came in already knowing the exact car I wanted and the price I was willing to pay, so the salesman didn't have to really say much. He was courteous, he offered me coffee and water.

The rims are Ray's Lexion 19x8.5 +38 F and 19x10 +45 R. The rims and lip are machined. I think it gives the car a sporty look.

Looks great man. And no, the rims dont stick out at all. I am curious though, how severe and at what speeds and turning angles do the rims rub? If you could detail some of that I would appreciate it

I mostly notice the rubbing when I am driving slow (parking lot speeds) and turning at a small angle. I noticed that the outside of the tire is rubbing on a piece of plastic inside the wheel well. The part of the wheel well I am referring to is the front, inside. There is a little plastic bump that protudes and that is causing the rubbing. If I have time I will try to take a picture of the area I am referring to.

They're 245/35/19 in front and 275/35/19 in back.

Very nice looking car and nice wheels congrats.
Your rubbing is comming from a couple things, one is the tire size your running in the front, the other would be the 38mm offset. For the front of your car you need a 235/35/19 with a higher offset, the rear fitments are fine if you don't plan on lowering the vehicle. Your rear tires are what we use to run a fat tire setup for 9.5" or 10" wheels the norm would be 275/30/19. This is for a softer ride or for wheel protection against poth holes. Right now i know your not getting any rubbing in the rear and only a little bit in the front, but if you lower the car all that will change, but I do love aggressive offsets and lip sizes, enjoy and congrats again.

When you say a higher offset in the front, do mean bigger than +38. I don't know too much about wheels, but I thought that if you go with a higher offset, the distance from the mounting surface increases. Wouldn't that mean the wheels would stick out more? Thanks for your help in advance.
