I was just at Tustin Lexus this weekend, and I heard a few people bring their car in just to get it washed. They washed mine after I tinted my windows, however it will be the last time they wash my car. It was too late for me to stop them, and when I got it out, I noticed alot of little swirl marks on the trunk and the hood. Never again! I had it washed already a few hours before that too.

Bring the car to their manager and complain to them. Last time my friend did that after they left swirl marks on his brand new BMW 325 and they handed him a check for $1,500. No BS. It was 3 years ago at Dallas BMW in Texas.

If a dealership out there wants to give you a 1,000 mile check and a wash then take advantage of it if you have the time. It just isn't Lexus maintenance policy anymore and not required or paid for by Lexus.
As far as this dealer in my area, yes they still do 1600Km CHECK/INSPECTION, no oil change.

I've never heard of the free car wash at Lexus dealers in Ontario. I wonder if I'm the only one that doesn't know about it.

I went to my dealership today to ask my salesman a question, and he asked if I wanted my car washed while I was here.

That's true i wouldnt let the dealership wash my car, the only
way i'd do so if it was in the dead of winter and my car was
covered in salt / dirt., But now that wouldnt ever be the case since
the company i work for has this huge garage, with industrial heaters
that i have 24hr access to..

Northwest Lexus will wash your car and shampoo your mats during service,...so I've heard from my budy who has his car serviced there! CN$59.00 oil change includes pick up and drop off in the area and loaners!

I went to my dealer in RI yesterday and (per the salesperson) asked for the car wash.

After about 10-15 minutes I was handed my keyfob and outside was a nice clean IS250.

I guess you gotta ask. Worst case is they say no.

I know the dealers wash it and clean the mats when you bring it in for service but people here are saying that you can just bring in the car anytime and have it washed. I wonder if our dealers here do that.

it is an free checkup btw, they basically just look at your car and decide it is fine :-). It gives you an opportunity to get free wash, and it gives them opportunity to offer some accessories to you :-).
