climate control display
A few months ago Automobile magazine had a review on the IS. One of the photos showed the climate control on the NAV screen--it showed a pictoragraph of the dashboard with various vent outlets, and then the fan speed buttons underneath. Has anyone with NAV seen this screen? The only climate display I get on the NAV has a row of mode buttons on top of a row of fan speed buttons. Sorry, no pix...

NjDude,
You're good!!!! Jlin101, I'm curious if you have the IS250 or 350. The car in the photo says that it is a 350 so I wonder if that makes a difference because of the auto smog detector option. Just my $.02.

While I would definitely enjoy bluetooth, NAV system is just a fun toy. In South Florida, it is really not necessary since almost all roads run straight N/S or E/W. There is really is no need for it down here unless you just want some fun technology that is going to cost you almost $4,000 more on your car. Is it worth $4,000 . . . probably not.

There is alot more to the Nav on the new IS than just finding your way around unfamilar territory. That's only part of it.

of course...you can also find points of interest and other things like that. To me though, this seems like things that you can figure out with some pre-planning before getting into your car. Granted on a long trip out of your general area of driving it might be helpful, but the amount of time that I drive out of the area does not make it worthwhile. I just don't see the beneftis outweighing the costs.
They should have made bluetooth standard in the car like the new G35c have. Bluetooth is a good feature because it promotes safer driving since a person would not have to dial on the phone or take a hand off the wheel to talk.
