Lexus of Towson (MD)
Just got back from Lexus of Towson. Talked to Bwerani. He told me they are out of 250's and 350's. Sold the last one this morning (why is the last one always sold in the morning?). In any case, they only have two more 350's coming in for a while. Both are Silver w/ Black interior. Interesting notes:
1) Tried to convince me ML was not worth it;
2) Told me a special order would take 4 months;
3) Told me Lexus is only making 10% in Cashmere.
In any case, I am looking for a 350 SGM w/ Cashmere NAV/ML, LUX, PCS doesnt look like Ill be able to get one for a while. Now I hear that BMW is moving on up to a 335 with 310 HP. Might be worth the wait to do European Delivery and use the savings on an extended warranty. I am going to check out Lexus of Silver Spring and Lexus of Rockville soon. Ill report back with anything I find.
BTW, I have seen EXACTLY 0 new IS's on the road (250 or 350). I travel 295, 32, 70, 695, and 100 every single day.

The IS is still very rare, I'm in SoCal and I've only seen 1.
But I would not let the dealer sway you from what you really want. If you want ML, and Cashmere....then perhaps if you're willing to wait...or search elsewhere. Good luck!

1) Don't listen to the dealer about ML -- they're probably just saying that because they know they won't get any on their lot any time soon. It's a common trick; same thing happened to me.
2) The closest place for us to get ML-equipped 350s is KY or OH -- go to Build Your Own Lexus and plug in a cincinatti or lexington zip code, and you'll see what I mean.
3) I don't know of any areas getting PCS in their regular allocation -- just too much $$$ IMHO.
4) So unless you're willing to comprimise on what you want, you're looking at special ordering -- a 3-4 month wait, regardless of where you're located or who you go through.
5) Otherwise, check out Bernie Kitts at Rockville, or Pohanka in Chantilly, VA. I'm pretty sure you could get $1K off a 350 in the DC area, cause Lindsay Lexus in Alexandria offered me that.
6) Or pursue the NY/NJ market -- a couple ppl have posted about getting $2500 - $3500 off MSRP for a 350.
7) I don't think the BMW 335 is going to be out for another year or two, but I'd *definitely* be interested in reading any info (solid rumors, etc.) you can point me to about it.
I don't travel a whole lot, but I haven't see any new IS's around DC either.

I live in Delaware, I think Townson is about 50 miles from me. Just so you know, Lexus of Wilmington (Delware) is asking MSRP. One IS350 on the lot, no nav. 2 IS250's as of yesterday, one was a demo AWD. I haven't seen any IS's up here yet on the roads either, although the dealer did have one in for service when I was there (IS250 breakwater blue).

BTW., whenever the bmw 335 does come out, you know it'll go for around
50k or more,, so it's not like some1 thats in the market for the is350
would even consider it.. Doesnt seem like you can get the ML combined
with the sports package anywhere,, I doubt anyone is getting $3,500 off of MSRP
here in the NY area, i would have to say maybe $2,000 at the most...

Second, I haven't verified this, but a couple people have mentioned heavy discounts in the NY/NJ area -- feel free to believe or not believe, it's your choice. Here's the thread:

Check with Bobby Rahal Lexus in Mechanicsburg, PA (right outside Harrisburg). It's only about 60 miles up 83. They've always treated me great.
Actually I think I'll go there tomorrow to see how much they'll give me for my current IS as a trade for a new one...
