Smile IS250 Manual, how much off MSRP?

I was thinking of buying an IS250 base, no options with the 6-speed manual, how much do you think I could get off MSRP / how close to invoice? I would imagine that less people are willing to purchase this car with a manual transmission.

Jon.

I remember reading a few months ago that a guy got somewhere btw $1000-1500 off mrsp. The purchase price was $29,995.

I'm sure you can get $2k+ now.

Yeah, if I can get close to invoice (or even invoice) for one I’ll take it. Plus, I want one in black with tan, which is a fairly common color combination. I’m thinking of getting the car the last week of December.

$2K off? No way. Especially since these cars need to be special ordered in all lieklyhood. No way do you get $2K off for any IS250/350 and especially not one that isn't even on the lot.

Here is So Cal you can get more then $2k off. Depends where you live.

The IS250 manual doesnt need to be special ordered. I've seen and test drive the IS250 6MT that was sitting on the dealer lot.

I suppose what region makes a difference. Here in the midwest I have yet to see a MT. And in Chicago dealers aren't even budging away from MSRP. At least the 5 dealers that I have talked to. But maybe that is because the car I want (350, nav, lux) isn't available, except by special order.

.
What do you mean by "have yet to see a MT"? Do you happen to have access to the distribution of cars? If so, I'm a little curious to know just how many MT w/ Nav there are. Thanks.

Unfortunately, I’m in SoFLA and I have a trade-in.

Yeah I was guessing FL to CO would be a hike, but just wanted to let you know of that option...

And I appreciate it!

Jon.

BTW: I don’t know how much sun you get over in CO, but in SoFLA a car with black leather is a heat trap.

I'm about to order an IS250 MT with Nav and Sport packages added. Most of the dealers around NC are still trying to make $5000 off each sale and sticking at MSRP.

I did get a bunch of quotes and I think I will travel a ways out of state much further south to get about $2500 or more off MSRP. I can post the dealer name if it works out.

Then I will have a 600 mile drive home or maybe just pay to have it shipped.

Yeah let me know (PM). If worse comes to worse, I’ll just sell my car to Autonation / Car Max.
